    Performance Arts Showcase | Saturday, April 13th
  • Held at the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts, Moran Theatre, on Saturday, April 13, 2024, the Performing Arts Showcase is the highlight of the year for our students, teachers and families. The Cathedral Arts Project student performances include theatre, ballet, jazz, strings, percussion, chorus and much more! The performances are all unique and provide a special opportunity for the students to perform for their families and the community.

    The following schools/groups will be performing at the 11:00 am show: 

    CAPSO, Chaffee Trail, Crystal Springs. Enterprise Learning Academy, Kings Trail, Hyde Park, Long Branch, Mandarin Oaks, Parkwood Heights, Springfield Middle. 

    The following schools/groups will be performing at the 6:30 pm show: 

    Abess Park, Brookview, CAPSO, Central Riverside, Cornerstone Classical, Crown Point,  Highlands Middle, Spring Park, Venetia

  • Students are required to travel from their school to the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts by bus. Bus and schedule information will be provided by your teaching artist via email or flyer. Parents/guardians are required to contact the CAP teaching artist and Program Coordinator if alternate arrangements need to be made. They will be authorized on a need basis only. 

     

    I/We consent to the above-listed student going to the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, April 13 for supervised activities, and hereby release and discharge the Cathedral Arts Project, Inc. and the Duval County School Board and their respective officers, agents and employees from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action and possible causes of action related to or growing out of any loss, damages, personal injuries or property damage sustained by my child while participating in the aforementioned activities, or in transit to and from said activity.

     

    Students will be provided with breakfast for the morning show or dinner for the evening show, and snacks will be available to students in their dressing rooms/waiting areas ( muffins, fruit, pizza, chips, juice, water). If your student has dietary needs or allergies, please inform the CAP teaching artist and send a meal with your student.

     

  • Students will return to the school by bus unless they are dismissed to parents/guardians at the event location after the show. Students WILL NOT be dismissed prior to the end of the show.

  • My student will be checked out after the show by and will not return to the school by bus. Students will be dismissed from the designated side doors at the Terry Theatre (east side of the venue) by a Cathedral Arts Project representative to the person above, who will sign them out. (IDs will be checked)

  • My student will ride the bus back to school and be checked out by at a time communicated by the CAP teaching artist.
